Exciting young hearts and minds

Challenge Overview

We believe that quality education is the key to ending the poverty cycle. On the Thailand Social Impact in the Community programme, you will be based in Mae Sariang, a rural town in Northern Thailand. By participating on this programme, you’ll get to contribute to a range of exciting education projects, such as delivering conversational English sessions to improve children’s competency and confidence speaking English.

We’ll ask you to plan and prepare STEAM and life skills workshops that allow children to learn hands-on, develop their critical thinking skills and become more engaged in their education. You’ll also get the opportunity to give more practical help – gardening, painting and improve facilities at local schools to create a safer and more conducive learning environment for the children.

Improve education quality

Develop critical thinking

You will be working in our partner schools to deliver exciting workshops that allow children to learn hands-on, helping to build their confidence and critical thinking skills. Your project will be tailored to meet the skill set of the group, however you will be working in our community partner schools to deliver workshops that inspire children to enjoy going to school.

You will be working on a range of projects that help improve education quality. This may include running life skills workshops that build children’s confidence and encourage transferable skills like problem solving, conflict resolution, teamwork, career planning and leadership.
