Ignite a lifelong love of learning

Challenge Overview

You’ll be working on a range of projects that help improve education quality at our partner schools in Kathmandu. These could include running technology and multimedia workshops that increase confidence and encourage transferable skills like problem solving, conflict resolution and teamwork. You’ll also have the opportunity to deliver conversational English lessons that will increase the children’s opportunities for further education and well-paying jobs later in life. You’ll get the chance to run STEAM workshops that encourage experimentation and innovation.

Your workshops will teach the community important skills like critical thinking, problem solving and teamwork, all with a focus on technology and media literacy.

  • Increase confidence in a community on abilities to use technology correctly and efficiently
  • Design workshops centred around your own passions, knowledge and skillset

Weeks one-four
You’ll work on one of our technology and multimedia programmes, facilitating workshops focussed on increasing confidence and abilities. You will also have the flexibility to make a meaningful impact in running further workshops in STEAM, life skills, and outdoor activities.

Weekends
Your weekend is free for you to spend as you like. We recommend making the most of Kathmandu and explore all that this amazing city has to offer, including Swayambhunath, Boudhanath temple and the bustling night life of Thamel!
