Challenge Overview

Rural schools in Dhulikel do not have any curriculum in place surrounding health, so without our participants there is a gap in wellbeing education. It’s not all hard work and no play! You’ll have plenty of free time during the project to explore Dhulikel, a picturesque town in the Nepali hills. You will also have the opportunity to visit Kathmandu and neighbouring towns and cities during your weekends.

Weeks one-four:
You’ll be immersed in the local community of Kathmandu, getting to know the children and teachers of local schools and delivering fun, creative workshops that encourage hands-on, experiential learning and life skills in health.

Weekends:
Your weekend is free for you to spend as you like. We recommend heading to Kathmandu for the whole weekend so you have time to explore all that this amazing city has to offer, including Swayambhunath, Boudhanath temple and the bustling night life of Thamel!
