Inspire the next generation of Global Citizens

Challenge Overview

Experience an unforgettable adventure in Kathmandu, Nepal, where you’ll be able to make a real difference inspiring local children to develop their climate awareness.

You’ll work with your team and other community members to deliver workshops on environmental sustainability. Our hope is to improve awareness of environmental issues and teach practical things children can do to protect their natural environment. Topics might include recycling, safe waste management, water use, climate change and sustainability.

Weeks 1-4:

You’ll get the opportunity to grow as a Global Citizen as you run workshops and activities designed to inspire local students to think about their environment in a sustainable way. You’ll develop cultural and global awareness, boost your confidence and gain a long list of transferable skills.

Weekends:
Your weekend is free for you to spend as you like. We recommend heading to Kathmandu for the whole weekend so you have time to explore all that this amazing city has to offer, including Swayambhunath, Boudhanath temple and the bustling night life of Thamel!

An average day
on the project

Monday to Friday you will facilitate workshops with the weekend free to travel or explore under your own steam. Your day will usually consist of a morning session after breakfast and then another after lunch. Your evenings and weekends will be free for you to relax and explore town or plan a session for the next day
