Step out of your comfort zone
During the first week you’ll facilitate learning at one of our partner schools by delivering educational workshops. Your workshops could focus on a range of topics, including Conversational English, STEAM, Creative Arts and Environmental Awareness. You could also get the chance to work on a small renovation project to enhance the children’s learning environment.
You’ll spend the second half of your programme trekking on the 5-day Salkantay route to Machu Picchu, climbing 4600m above sea level as you reach the summit. The awe-inspiring views will keep you going as you pass the unbelievable Humantay Lake and finally reach Machu Picchu at sunrise on your epic final day!
Improve education Quality
Developed critical thinking
During your first week you’ll work with children at local schools, delivering workshops and helping them speak English with confidence, as well as lending a hand with any practical infrastructure maintenance like gardening or painting.
The 5-day Salkantay trek to Machu Picchu will challenge your mental and physical ability as you trek through mountain passes up to 4600m!
