Cambodia: Health and Wellbeing Challenge

Challenge Snapshot

The impacts of the Khmer Rouge are still deeply felt throughout Cambodia – with 50% of Cambodia’s population under the age of 22, there’s a shortage of professionals across various sectors, including healthcare. Nutritional deficiencies, mental health issues and non-communicable diseases pose significant threats to the community. Our Health and Well-Being Challenge is, therefore, essential for enhancing the community’s knowledge on crucial health topics and improving overall public health.
Gain valuable insights into global healthcare and explore how developmental challenges affect the overall health of communities!
Design and facilitate educational workshops that address the community’s current health needs. Topics could include: nutrition, social and emotional well-being, non-communicable diseases!
Coordinate health education activities with younger members of the community to raise awareness of preventative measures and create long-term impact!
