Our Impact in Nepal
Although Nepal has deep cultural diversity and abundant natural resources, it remains one of the poorest countries, facing challenges like natural disasters, unemployment, poverty, lack of education, gender inequality, and pollution.
Addressing these issues requires empowering individuals to understand their roles, potentials, and values, fostering positive change.
- Our efforts are mainly focused on supporting disadvantaged children in Dhulikhel and its surrounding areas.
- Dhulikhel has 75.26% literacy rate with the total school enrolment rate of 99%.
Where You'll be Based
You’ll be based in Bhaktapur, a historic city in the Kathmandu Valley and one of Nepal’s six UNESCO World Heritage sites. With its centuries-old architecture and traditional way of life still very much intact, it’s a place where daily routines have barely changed in generations, giving you a real sense of local culture.
When you’re not in your workshops, spend time exploring the city’s old quarters and craft markets, or make the most of your free weekend with a trip to nearby Dhulikhel for panoramic Himalayan views and a sunrise hike.
