Be a team to inspire teamwork
Challenge Overview
You’ll be working together as a team to contribute to community projects in our partner schools in Tanzania. Your task is to help to inspire children to want to come to school through sports education, and therefore create change in the communities.
You’ll be designing and delivering a range of workshops related to sports, health and wellbeing, including teamwork and communication, and on why maintaining a healthy lifestyle is so important. You’ll also deliver physical sports sessions, including introducing exciting new sports and organising a final sports day celebration at the end of the programme.
- Inspire Tanzanian children with the joy of sports and physical health
- Boost their passion for learning by using your creativity and resourcefulness
- Work on a renovation project to help improve school facilities
Improve education quality
Developed critical thinking

You’ll be met by our in-country team and transferred to your accommodation to relax and settle in before your welcome dinner. The next day you’ll have a full orientation to your project and our in-country team will show you around town. There will be plenty of time to explore and get to know your new home!
Weeks 1-2:
You’ll contribute to our long-term community programmes, lending your energy and creativity, and sharing your skills with local community members and children. The focus will be on delivering sports and physical exercise sessions that allow children to learn teamwork, communication and leadership skills.
