Exciting young hearts and minds
Challenge Overview
On this unforgettable adventure in Panama, you’ll get to deliver workshops on environmental sustainability. Our hope is to improve awareness of environmental issues and teach practical things children can do to protect their natural environment. Topics might include recycling, safe waste management, water use, climate change and sustainability.
You may also get the opportunity to visit the Azuero Peninsula to prepare land, plant trees and educate the local schools and community about habitats and the environment.
- Deliver workshops on climate change, waste management and the 5 R's
- Participate in tree planting and lead community clean-ups
- Educate communities on sustainable practices
Improve education quality
Develop critical thinking
You’ll get the opportunity to grow as a Global Citizen as you run workshops and activities designed to inspire local students to think about their environment in a sustainable way. You’ll develop cultural and global awareness, boost your confidence and gain a long list of transferable skills.
It’s not all work and no play – you’ll have plenty of free time during your evenings and weekends to explore the local area!
