About New Zealand

Known for its breathtaking landscapes and warm-hearted locals, New Zealand is a natural paradise unlike any other. From the rugged coastlines to the rolling green hills, and from the majestic Southern Alps to the serene beaches of the North Island, the country’s natural beauty is awe-inspiring. Auckland, New Zealand’s largest city, is a vibrant urban hub with a mix of modern architecture, diverse dining experiences, and a buzzing arts scene, all within easy reach of stunning hiking trails, volcanic islands, and tranquil harbors.

For those seeking adventure and a connection with nature, New Zealand offers endless opportunities. Kiwis embrace outdoor activities, with hiking, surfing, and sailing ingrained in the culture. The country is renowned for its well-maintained walking paths, with trails that weave through ancient rainforests, past glittering lakes, and across snow-capped mountains. Further south, in the dramatic landscapes of Fiordland, you can experience the serene beauty of Milford Sound or explore the alpine wonderland of Queenstown, the adventure capital of the world.

Whether you’re exploring the vibrant urban life or escaping to the wilderness, New Zealand offers a unique blend of natural beauty and modern charm.

Our New Zealand programme offers a transformative four-week experience in Aotearoa. Aotearoa is a stunning island nation in the South Pacific, known for its breathtaking landscapes, rich Māori culture, and vibrant biodiversity. You will stay in homestays with local families, allowing you to become immersed in daily life and customs while enjoying home cooked meals. Participants will, also, take part in a comprehensive Māori Studies Course, focusing on Māori culture, history, and language.

You will be exposed to Aotearoa’s breathtaking landscapes, with an emphasis of the Māori worldview of the environment. The final week features a cultural showcase and a farewell dinner, celebrating the connections made and the insights gained throughout the journey. Social activities will foster camaraderie, ensuring a deeply immersive experience in Māori culture and traditions.
